Some Details and FAQs

  • Food trucks (this includes food carts) will only be placed in neighbourhoods with a large cluster of registered sales.  I THINK we previously set that number at 10-15 registered sales.  This year, we will be aiming for closer to 15-20 registered sales.

  • There will be a limit of TWO food trucks in each neighbourhood.  One hot and one cold.  So if you are selling burgers, then you don't need to worry about competing with pizza.  Similarly, if you are selling ice cream, then there will not be another cold or sweet vendor to compete with you.

  • There is no fee for you to participate.  But you need to ensure that you are licensed and insured to sell food and compliant on all your permits etc. You keep all your profits and we get to have you as a draw to our event.

  • In order to be in code compliance AND to not impede the flow of traffic, all participating food trucks will be parked on a driveway or lawn.  Residents volunteer their property for this.

  • To both thank you for participating and to let shoppers know where you will be, your businesses will be listed on this website and we give shout outs to your businesses on the FB event page. 

​

  • Once you commit to participating and you have been assigned a location, we will put you in touch with the homeowner so that you have a direct point of contact and you can discuss particular needs etc.
