Do you live in Fairport / Perinton?

Do you have stuff you want to sell?

Do you want to have fun with your neighbors?

Then SIGN UP  below!

We thought that this would just be a small neighborhood event,

but little did we know that in our first year (2022) we would have

107 registered sales and in our second year, that number would jump to 276,

with food trucks, media coverage and a whole lot of fun.

We have learned that areas with

lots of participating houses, AND lots of signage

(both physical and online) are the most successful.

So sign up, then please ...

get out there and talk to your neighbors - make a plan together.

Once you sign up, we will reach out with more resources for you.

Register by MAY 11 in order to be guaranteed to have your house listed on the website AND given a marker on the interactive maps.

What's next?

* Click HERE to join our Facebook group for SELLERS only.

* Start sorting through all your stuff and if it does not bring you joy, put it in a pile to sell.

* Price everything or make piles for $1, $2, $5 or FREE tables.

* Make a commitment to talk to at least three neighbors - the ones to your right, the ones to your left and the ones opposite.  Let them know what's happening and get them to sign up too!

* Make YARD SALE signs with arrows (or save yourself the work and buy the ones we have) and get ready to put them up a day or two before. (Note: the Village will remove signs that are on Village property - this includes the strip of land between the sidewalk and the road.)

* Ask your neighbors who live at the entrances to neighborhoods if we can put a sign on their lawn and then let us know if they say yes!

* Ask your kids if they want to become little entrepreneurs and run their own lemonade stand.

* Closer to the date, print off the QR code flyer as big as you can. Try to take up a whole page.  Display this and get people to scan it on the day of the event to show them where other sales are.  This was a huge hit in the past.  People were walking around like they were looking for Pokemon!

* If you've done all of this, then guess what?  You have what it takes to be a neighborhood ambassador.  In fact, you already are!  Contact us on the Facebook page to get your official badge.
